My journey into photography
I have always been a creative and artistic person. When I had the opportunity in grade 8 to take a photography class, I figured, why not? I quickly learned the joy of capturing things most people wouldn't even think of looking at. Being able to show people the world through my eyes soon became something I loved doing. Since then, I have been bringing my camera everywhere, capturing moments that deserve to be remembered beautifully. I love making something simple have such a deep meaning. I also love the reaction and how I can make others happy by doing what I love.
My unique approach and style
What makes my photography stand out? I like to approach my photography sessions as if I am not even there. My goal is to make my clients feel comfortable expressing who they are because that is when you get the most authentic, natural photos. I believe true beauty comes from genuine moments, and my style focuses on capturing those unposed, real emotions.
Your photography experience with Emily Gall Photography
When you choose Emily Gall Photography, you can expect a detailed planning process for your session's time and date. On the day, there is no need to worry about "getting into" the photoshoot; I know how to help people feel comfortable and natural, so you do not need to worry about being a model. Expect to see me running around, lying on the ground, and making sudden changes or stops—because when something catches my eye and gives me an idea for a photo, I will make sure we capture it!
After the session, I individually go through each photo, edit every person, correct any small details we do not want, crop, and mask all the photos. You will then receive your photos via email, which can take two to six weeks, depending on how busy I am and how many photos I need to go through.
